Foster Flourishes at Snetterton
10.08.2003 by Karen Furuse
Joey Foster remains a serious title contender, following a tremendous triumphant win in round 14 of the HarrierZeuros UK Formula Ford motor racing championship at Snetterton, on Saturday 8th August.
The Castle Donington based driver had finished a convincing second in an earlier championship round capturing crucial points, following an exceptional individual performance in extremely hot weather conditions. Foster continued to enhance his championship prospects by fending off the fellow opposition in the evening race event securing full race honours. Along with additional points for providing the fastest lap in both races, Foster provided his first win of the 2003 race season allowing him to edge increasingly closer to the current championship leader, Tom Kimber-Smith.
Currently lying third in the championship standings, the former 2001 Winter Series Champion, remains highly confident ahead of the forthcoming double race event at Brands Hatch, over August bank holiday weekend.
