Joey hits problems at Scotlands Knockhill

Joey suffered one of the problematic weekends of his successful career at 'Knockhill' on the 6th & 7th of August.
After struggling with pace from the car in the test day, Joey was taken off at the first corner by a slower car. This pitched the paralyzed motaworld car head first into the tyre wall at over 115kms. The impact left the Joes Motaworld car very heavily damaged and only left one full corner intact.
For qualifying the team and driver were now on back foot after the test andwith no set up or data from the two sessions the day before it was not going to be easy to get a good grid spot. Being 22nd and 24th was not were 'Joey' needed to be to achieve a top three finish in the championship, so a damage limitation exercise was put into place and it was decided to withdraw from the weekend and preserve the car to make an assault properly on 'Brands Hatch' on the 21st and 22nd of August.
Joey returned to his home in Cornwall straight after 'Knockhill' to focus on his fitness and to iron out any injuries that may have been sustained in the accident at the weekend. The car is to be hopefully rebuilt fully for Brands Hatch so Joey is looking to be at the front of the Renault Grid again.
